Beersheba Farm ‘Castledale’ fleeces are now *double-combed* into buttery soft, easy-to-spin tops.

We are excited to present our beautiful wool to you!

Castledale is an ideal wool for beginners to handspinning due to the fibre length and easy of handling. Experienced spinners will also fall in love with this wool for a relaxed spin. Beersheba Castledale wool has a lovely pearly sheen and is useful for a range of garments due to the lofty tendencies of the fibre.

This wool from our farm has been fully processed here in Victoria and has low “miles”. The Castledale sheep are our own “invention” and unique to Beersheba Farm.

The tops tested at 24.4 micron with an average 14cm staple length.
